In Sikkim, development and planning process of
Sikkim Distilleries has been playing a very vital
role in resource mobilisation and job orientation.
Though this is a negative
industry, but positive approach in every respect.
I offer my sincere gratitude on behalf of my
people to the founder members. Those who come from
far distance, and set up this economically viable
industry for the economic welfare of the Himalayan
Kingdom.
With very best wishes.
N.B. Bhandari
Chief Minister of Sikkim

Neeri Nagpur team visited this factory today and
were explained in detail about the process. We
found that from the cleanliness point of view it
is maintained satisfactorily. From the
environmental point of view, it is safe and not
detrimental to environmental quality...

...the Distillery is running on proper scientific
lines. The premises are clean, and all hygienic
principles are maintained. It is creditable to
observe that Rum is manufactured from jaggery
which as a commodity is far better than molasses
used by other firms.
